You can teach a zillion writing courses, and if nothing ever challenges you to think differently about what you're doing in them, you could teach every one of them without knowing what contributions rhet/comp might have made. And what I also wish were true--that some people actively didn't resist the contributions that rhet/comp has made. Bill Thelin, among others, has documented the staying power of current-traditional rhetoric in programs run by people who have long understood why that's not a very good thing.Seth Kahnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12911164106637399507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22001031.post-35100325816453480252014-04-16T06:45:38.175-07:002014-04-16T06:45:38.175-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Seth Kahnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12911164106637399507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22001031.post-3303200283006665872014-04-13T19:33:31.945-07:002014-04-13T19:33:31.945-07:00Anon--I hope your department doesn't go over t...Anon--I hope your department doesn't go over the edge. undinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05589384016564587214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22001031.post-27271300161808475702014-04-12T13:27:32.044-07:002014-04-12T13:27:32.044-07:00Lucky you to work in a collegial place!
