I didn't want to buy it in case a student would miss buying it.

It really is the potential, kris. I read somewhere that a know-it-all pundit was giving some daft advice to parents about saving money by not taking the kids to buy school supplies. School supplies are all about potential, and so are new books.

Professor Zero, I hadn't heard of that being done by students and am embarrassed to admit that I thought "what a cool idea."

So there are at least four of us in the other people's book-gazing club.undinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05589384016564587214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22001031.post-55199131015316820492008-08-24T18:11:00.000-07:002008-08-24T18:11:00.000-07:00YEP!YEP!Chaserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02124246378936489539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22001031.post-60818801774926893902008-08-22T22:07:00.000-07:002008-08-22T22:07:00.000-07:00I'm worse - I do it at OTHER SCHOOLS. It is a sign of acculturation I am not sure I am happy with.Professor Zerohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04909063513731044826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22001031.post-32032435174542355372008-08-21T20:59:00.000-07:002008-08-21T20:59:00.000-07:00You are absolutely not alone. When I used to have time, I'd even pick up books for reading. Remember reading?Bardiachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11846065504793800266noreply@blogger.com
